Taken on May 4, 1952 at the family home in Scheveningen, Laurent J.M., Maria, Henri, Paul, Laurent and Laurien Nouwen are seen posing for photos and conversing with extended family, including Tennis Ramselaar, Zus Lobach and Maria H.R. Nouwen, in celebration of Laurien Nouwen's First Communion. The annotation on the page reads: "Eerste H. Communie Laurien 4 Mai 1954"
